Please join us on Tuesday mornings at 7:30 am at the Newbridge Cafe. You'll have a great time socializing, sharing, meeting great people and learning how you can change "Just one life, through just one kind act."
Kiwanis is a world wide service organization for individuals desiring personal involvement in the leadership and improvement of their communities. As a group, we can achieve what individuals can not do alone. Thus our motto and the cornerstone of Kiwanis
We Build
North Buncombe Kiwanis was founded in 1992. Our goal is to support the North Buncombe area young people and their activities, and to have fun doing it. Some of our projects include:
- Terrific Kids Program
- Scholarships for graduating students of North Buncombe High School
- Kids Snack Program
- Annual 4th of July Firecracker 5-K Race
- Annual 4th of July Firecracker 1 Mile Fun Walk
- Annual Antique Car Show
- Annual Downtown Christmas Stroll
